National School Breakfast Programme

In July, Wingrove applied to be part of The National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP) and we are delighted to inform you that our application was successful. Working with the Department for Education, the NSBP will provide all morning pupils the chance to have a free healthy breakfast that helps get them settled and ready to learn. This generous offer will run until the end of March and be delivered in one of two ways; take home breakfast packs or in-school breakfasts.

For EYFS, we hope to provide breakfast in school for the duration of the programme while Key Stage 1 and 2 will receive breakfast through a combination of take-home packs and in-school breakfasts. Families will be informed in advance by text if their breakfast offer is to change.

The programme will be delivered by Mr MacLeod and Mrs Radu who are happy to chat if you have any questions. They can often be found on the school yard in the morning and at home time. Wingrove are incredibly lucky to have been chosen to take part in the National School Breakfast Programme and we hope that as many families as possible will take part.
