The children in Wingrove Primary School are instinctively curious about life. Growing up raises lots of questions, some to do with their experience, both the good and the bad, and some to do with their sense of wonder at the universe we live in.
Many of our children have an interest in exploring how these ideas and experiences help them to develop their own sense of identity, self-worth, personal insight, meaning and purpose.
During time visiting the 'Wingrove Festival of Thought' children explored the bigger questions they might not usually get the opportunity to ask or think about in their lives. Please enjoy watching our video below.
As part of our French learning, we are very fortunate to have a link with a primary school in Normandy.
For 2015, we are getting to know each other through ‘The Teddy Bear Project’.
In January, Sebastian, our Wingrove bear, travelled to Normandy. The children send us regular letters to show us what Sebastian is getting up to.
